Account and Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete a Fawrn app account and request deletion of associated personal data. It applies across Fawrn apps; the exact labels or menu locations may vary by app version.
Delete your account in the app
Where the app supports account creation, you can start deletion in the app:
- Open the Fawrn app and sign in.
- Open Settings, then Privacy.
- Select Delete My Account.
- Confirm your identity using the method offered in the app, such as your password or a one-time code.
- Review the notice and confirm the deletion request.
If these options are not available in your app version, use the external request method below and name the app.
What happens after a request
After we verify a request, we may deactivate the account and revoke its active sessions while processing it. When deletion is complete, we delete the account and associated personal data, except for information we must or may retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or record-keeping purposes. Deleted accounts and information cannot be restored.
Information that may be retained
We may retain transaction and financial records where required by law, and limited security or fraud-prevention records where permitted. Encrypted backup copies may remain until they are replaced or removed through normal backup cycles. We restrict retained information to the purpose and period that justify keeping it.
Processing time
We aim to process deletion requests within 7–30 days after verifying the request. Some information may be removed sooner; backup copies may be cleared on their normal schedule. If a request needs more time, we will let you know where required.
Request deletion if you cannot access the app
Email us to request deletion of your Fawrn app account and associated personal data. Include the app name and the registered email address or phone number so we can identify the account. Do not send your password or full payment-card details.
We may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account before acting on a request.
Subscriptions and purchases
Deleting an app account does not automatically cancel a subscription or request a refund. If Apple, Google, or another provider bills your subscription, cancel it through that provider. See our Refund Policy for Fawrn-billed subscriptions.
